Player Guess

Try to identify one player from a distinctive stat or career fact. Later clues add context and make the connection easier. You get five clues and one guess per clue. A wrong guess or skip unlocks the next clue. Score 5 points for solving clue one, down to 1 point on clue five. Five misses end the game. Names ignore spacing, punctuation, and capitalization; accepted nicknames are set by the owner.

Stat Ladder

Answer five questions from easy to hard. Each gets one guess. Rungs are worth 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 points: 15 total. A miss or skip earns zero, but you keep climbing. Every question names its sport, season, and statistic.

CrossSport

Start in 1 Across and type to start the clock. Fill the mini crossword with sports names and phrases. Tap a clue to pick a word. Tap an intersection again to switch direction. Use arrow keys on a keyboard. Checks flag incorrect filled letters; reveal fills one letter. Your solve timer pauses when you leave the crossword or hide the tab. Your shared result includes your final time, checks, and reveals. Spaces and punctuation are omitted from grid answers.

The Matchup

Connect four sports-related people, teams, stats, or phrases. Select four items that share a connection, then Submit. Find all four categories in a shuffled 4 × 4 grid. Correct groups join into a colored row and reveal the category. You have six mistakes; correct groups do not use one.

Sportle

Guess the sports term, player, coach, team, or any sports-related word in six tries. The daily word has 4–6 letters. Green means the correct letter in the correct spot; yellow means the letter belongs elsewhere; grey means no unused copy of that letter is in the answer. Use the on-screen keyboard or type, then press Enter. Any guess of the right length is accepted. Your score is guesses used out of six, or X/6.

The Two Minute Drill

Read one question and name as many answers as you can in 120 seconds. Check the daily rule statement for the answer format. Unlimited guesses; each unique answer earns one point. Repeated answers add no points. The clock keeps running when you leave or reload. Sign in and choose a public nickname for one ranked daily run, or play as a guest. General editions can include optional games; league editions contain the original three.

New games arrive at midnight Eastern. A completion streak counts consecutive dates you finish a game, regardless of score. Each game and league edition has its own streak. Practice and owner previews never count. Progress stays in this browser; clearing browser storage removes it.
